Privacy Policy
Meterlane, operated by Northforge Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and organization name via our authentication provider (Clerk).
Payment metadata. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and plan tier, but we do not store card numbers or full payment details — those are held by Stripe.
Usage data. We collect logs of API requests routed through your Meterlane account (timestamps, route IDs, request counts, payment amounts). We do not log the content of proxied requests.
Error and performance data. We use Sentry to capture application errors and PostHog to measure product usage. Both are configured to minimize PII collection.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and organization
- Operate the Agent Gateway and Stablecoin Corridor services
- Process subscription billing through our payment processor
- Send transactional emails (onboarding, invoices, alerts) via Resend
- Monitor service reliability and fix bugs
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Processors
We share your data only with processors necessary to operate the service:

4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records, fraud prevention).
Aggregated usage statistics (non-personal) may be retained indefinitely to improve the service.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our dashboard uses session cookies managed by Clerk for authentication. Our marketing pages use PostHog for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and API key hashing (SHA-256). We conduct regular security audits. No system is 100% secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please contact us responsibly at [email protected].
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and notify you by email if changes are material. Continued use of Meterlane after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
